What you’ll learn

The 10 New Cutting Techniques

Scissor texture, beard work, fades that grow out well and the cuts younger clients bring on their phones — each one tied to a real search trend.

  1. 01

    The Beard Fade Blueprint

    “beard fade men” +764%

A beard fade that melts into the haircut fade — no visible line at the sideburn. Includes the Italian beard fade.

  2. 02

    Soft Wolf Sculpt

    “soft wolf cut men” +1154%

The modern wolf cut: internal layers, a disconnected fringe, movement on top and a soft perimeter.

  3. 03

    Two-Block Transition

    “Korean two block” +212%

The Korean two-block joined to a low taper — the disconnected under-section blended without a visible step.

  4. 04

    Boy Fringe Frame

Leading 2026 men’s trend (Behind the Chair)

A textured, forward fringe that frames the face without a hard line — and a safe starting length (hair shortens as it dries).

  5. 05

    Burst Fade Radius

Steady request, especially from younger clients

A semicircle fade around the ear that keeps length at the nape — the base for mullets, mohawks and blowouts, symmetrical on both sides.

  6. 06

    Low Taper Reset

Clients return every 48.5 days (SQUIRE 2026)

A soft perimeter taper designed to grow out well between visits — plus a clear way to choose taper vs. fade for each head shape.

  7. 07

    The Edgar Line

    Established vocabulary in US shops

A crisp, straight fringe over a fade or taper, plus the fluffy Edgar — taught as a legitimate technique, with respect for its Latino cultural roots.

  8. 08

    Zoomer Wave Chemical

    “loose wavy perm men” +228%

The loose-wave men’s perm over a taper: strand and sensitivity tests, wrapping, and processing per the manufacturer. Check your state board before offering perms.

  9. 09

    Curl Command

    “curly wolf cut men” +245%

Cutting curly and coily hair: reading curl pattern and shrinkage, dry cutting curl by curl, the curly wolf cut and balancing volume.

  10. 10

    Flow & Shag Scissor Work

    “modern mullet men” +223%

Medium-length scissor work: hockey flow, shag mullet and the warrior cut — scissor-over-comb, layering and weight removal.

Photos are illustrative stock images (Unsplash) — not course footage, not the instructor and not student results.

Every technique is reviewed step by step by our licensed co-producer before it is recorded. Chemical services are regulated differently in every state — check your state board before offering perms, relaxers or color, and always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Is it for you?

Made for licensed pros who want the cuts clients are asking for.

It’s for you if…

  • You’re a licensed barber, or a licensed cosmetologist or hairstylist who cuts men’s hair
  • You’re confident with clippers and want more scissor, texture and beard work
  • Clients bring you wolf cuts, two-blocks and beard fades and you want a repeatable method
  • You like learning in English, with Spanish subtitles available
  • You’d rather pay once than pay every month

It’s not for you if…

  • You need a license, licensing hours or state board exam prep — this course doesn’t provide any of those
  • You want someone to promise you income or clients — we teach technique, and results vary
  • You want live one-on-one mentorship — this is a recorded course
  • You plan to offer chemical services your state license doesn’t cover

FAQ

Straight answers

Is this a license or a certification?

No. Next Cut is continuing skills training for licensed professionals. When you finish, you receive a certificate of completion — it is not a license and does not count toward state licensing hours (see “Please read” above).

How do I get access?

Right after payment, Hotmart emails your login to Hotmart Club, where the lessons are hosted. Watch on your phone, tablet or computer.

Is it available in Spanish?

The lessons are taught in English, with English and Spanish subtitles on every video. On-screen technical terms use the English words you’ll hear in US shops.

Who is it for?

Licensed barbers, and licensed cosmetologists and hairstylists who cut men’s hair — especially if you’re strong with clippers and want more scissor, texture and beard work. It is not pre-licensing training and does not count toward licensing hours. If you’re still in school, you’re welcome to join the list, but this course is designed for people who already hold a license.

Do I pay again for new techniques?

No. You pay once and there are no recurring charges. We’re planning new techniques as trends change, and every new technique we add is included at no extra cost. We don’t promise a fixed schedule or number of new lessons.

What does “lifetime access” mean?

Lifetime access means for as long as Next Cut is offered; see Terms. You keep access to everything you bought, plus every technique we add later.

What about refunds?

The course is sold through Hotmart. Purchases are covered by a [X]-day guarantee under Hotmart’s refund policy. See our Refund Policy.

When does it launch?

Planned launch: [LAUNCH WINDOW — e.g. early 2027]. We open only when all 10 techniques are recorded, reviewed and subtitled. The launch list hears first.

Can I offer the perm (Zoomer Wave) after the course?

Only if your state license covers chemical services. Check your state board first and always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Will this increase my income?

We teach technique, not income. Results vary. Nothing here is a guarantee of income or of client growth.

Who answers my questions?

Support is in writing, in English. Technical questions are answered by the instructor. Contact: [SUPPORT EMAIL].

What do you do with my information?

We use it only to email you about Next Cut (launch, price, free lessons) and to understand what barbers want to learn. We don’t sell it. Unsubscribe anytime. Details in our Privacy Policy.
